Entire tailgate assembly within one work cycle

One out of two: Following this objective REMECH has realized its latest innovation in the field of assembly systems for the body shop. REMECH has fully automated the assembly tasks “assembly of tailgate hinges” and “assembly of tailgate to the body” following the "best-fit" approach within one single work cycle – instead of completing the assembly in the course of two mechanical work cycles.

Due to that, both production time and production costs have been reduced. Simultaneously a better and constantly unchanged quality and high availability are assured by means of a quality control circuit. Furthermore, it is possible to assemble tailgates of different car types by a multiple-gripper-system.
